AIFF are in long terms Afro Influenced Funk Federation. The Dutch musicians around DJ and producer Phil Martin and musician Ton van der Kolk play an enormous groove establishing their own version of afro-funk. Influenced by classic afro funk like Fela Kuti, they try to bring afro-funk to a new dimension.

His debut album was put together with a sample-machine and synthesizers, on this second album he is backed by some great musicians from the Netherlands, Danmark and Bulgaria. Phil races through a selection of ten songs composted by himself and the Danish singer Mette Burild. All songs showcase the producers diversity, inventiveness and understanding of the groove. After some recording sessions The Jazzinvaders released their first 12” (Social1205) in 2005 and immediately drew the attention of many jazz lovers from around the globe. After this, more recording session were admitted to tape and can now be heard in full affect on the Jazzinvaders debut album Up & Out! Expect heavy basslines, killer horn hooks, Latin jazz piano-riffs and a vocal contribution of the Danish jazz vocalist Mette Burild and dutch vocalist Linda Bloemhard.

A soundtrack with songs, grooves and ideas that were inspired by birds. Tim Wood is comfortable in his music and uses lots of different colors, sounds and rhythms. Writting, playing and producing it all by himself. He plays the drums, a beatle-bass, some funky guitars, percussion and an old Philacordia organ. He invited also some friends in his studio to jam with other instruments as the indian sitar, classical violins, saxophones and trumpets. Tim is deeply rooted within the 60’s sound, influenced by funk, the psychedelic 60’s orientated rock, a slice of the bollywood vibes and jazz improvisation.

Jaffa is born out of the long existing desire of Dutch vocalist and songwriter Christel meijer to create music with electronic flair. Being introduced to producer Phil Martin (The Jazzinvaders / Laura Vane & The Vipertones) opened up the door for this vision to be realized. Together they immediately created a remarkable sound and resulted in a mix of a rich variety of styles, which Jaffa calls 'jazzy synth pop with an edge': catchy melody lines, squeaking synths and profound beats.... 11 songs to chill to!
